This study focuses on developing an intuitive audio guide system for small-scale historical buildings, aiming to enhance visitor experience through multilingual storytelling and spatial navigation. A field experiment was conducted in Nagoya’s Higashi Ward, known for its preserved architecture and cultural heritage.

Managing Overtourism through AI-Driven Data Analysis

This study applies AI-powered license plate recognition to analyze visitor flows in Shirakawa-go, a UNESCO World Heritage site affected by overtourism. By identifying tourist origins, rental car use, and parking durations, it provides data-driven insights for sustainable tourism management.
